Anacortes Grocery Store Session

It was mid-July, the weather was perfect and my cousin Sarah suggested that we go out and shoot. She had the cutest location in mind and so we got ready and headed out towards Anacortes. Photoshoots planned on a whim are some of my favorites, especially when it’s shared with my best friend. There’s no pressure to get the perfect shot, we can be as silly as we want and I love the memories that we make. Sarah is turning into quite the little model, also can we applaud her photography skills?! Pro-tip: teach your friends and family some photography basics, you’ll be glad that you have a few cute shots of yourself to look back on! I think it’s important for photographers to get in front of the camera, it helps you become more aware of how your models feel and think and can help you become better at directing poses.

I hope you enjoy these pictures and are inspired to use all types of places as a backdrop. Grab you’re best friend and go have some fun!
