Downtown Bellingham Branding Photoshoot

When Alexandria (a wonderful person who is near and dear to my heart) asked if I would be interested in helping her do a branding photoshoot for her Monat business the answer was yes! Alex and I originally met through my little sister and I have used her as a model for lots of fun photoshoots over the past few years, including this adorable vintage laundromat shoot that is featured on Pepsi’s Instagram.

Alex wanted candid and professional pictures and some product photography that she could use for social media and blogging. We decided on Bellingham as the location and we were able to cover a lot of ground in the two days that we were together. From using a few murals and walls as backdrops to posing at the top of a parking lot garage we got a lot of diversity in her pictures that perfectly showcase her personality and brand.

There’s nothing more fun than running around with a model who is open to going with the flow and willing to trust my creative insight. Yes, we had a main goal in mind of what we wanted out of the photoshoot, but a lot of it was us walking around and being inspired by our surroundings. Some of my favorite shots are of the product photography we took in my neighborhood using the gorgeous flowers that were in full bloom! I hope you enjoy what we created together.
