Downtown Urban City Portraits
A while back I did a giveaway on my Instagram for a free photoshoot and Emily won! They wanted some candid portraits around Downtown Bellingham. In typical Bellingham fashion, the weather was gloomy and some rain made an appearance for a little bit. But that didn't stop us from having the most fun ever! I loved Emily’s colorful hair and unique style. I felt like their aesthetic went perfectly with our choice of location.
As much as I love capturing families and couples, it’s also very special to capture portraits. I love connecting with people using my camera and seeing their personalities come alive in the photos. I believe that everyone should have their portraits taken. You change so much from year to year and it’s cool to see who you were a few years back and what your style was like. Plus many of my clients feel a boost in self-esteem because it feels good to have professional or creative pictures taken. It’s important to do nice things for yourself!
